What is Conveyancing?

What are the costs involved?

The cost for your conveyancing transaction will vary depending on whether you are selling or purchasing.  AFG Conveyancing charge a fixed fee for our services so once we provide you with a quote, there will be no surprises.

When do I need to pay?

Payment of your conveyancing costs will be deducted when settlement of your property has been completed.

What are disbursements?

Disbursements are out of pocket expenses that AFG Conveyancing pays on your behalf to apply for all necessary title searches and property certificates associated with the sale and purchase of your home.

Should I have the Contract and Section 32 checked before I  buy?

Yes!  AFG Conveyancing will review the Section 32 and Contract before you buy to ensure there are no hidden surprises.

What is "cooling off" and who can cool off?

Cooling off is a term used to describe the right of a purchaser to cancel the Contract and walk away from the purchase on a "no questions asked" basis within a specified period of time.
